Soak in clothing-optional spring-fed pools and sunbathe on the deck overlooking expansive views. Once you’ve settled in, explore the land, wander the garden, walk the labyrinth or hike the "Spiritual Path". Visit the food court for healthy snacks and delicious meals. Schedule a massage or water session at our Spa. Attend a yoga class, a dance or sharing circle before an evening soak under the stars. Or, just simply sit back, relax and listen to bubbling creek and gentle breeze. We encourage you to create your own ideal retreat experience, participating in as many or few activities as you wish.

Our ambiance is rustic and services are limited.

For the privacy and safety of our guests, electronics are not allowed at the pool area or ANYWHERE clothing is optional.

Harbin Hot Springs is a rustic retreat located north of San Francisco, about 30 minutes’ drive from Napa Valley, near Middletown. While we do not wish to compete with fancy spas or resorts, we do hope to make your retreat as comfortable as possible, and we will do our best to make you feel at home.

Because electronics are not allowed at the pool area or anywhere clothing is optional, we invite you to embrace your retreat time as a “digital detox.” You may want to bring a journal, sketchpad, or watercolors. Or visit our beautifully curated bookshop in the Reception Office and pick up something new to read during your visit. You’ll be surprised how quickly you adjust to a signal-free day, and many guests consider this feature to be a Harbin highlight.
