The maintenance worker position, under limited supervision, performs work of routine difficulty maintenance and performs related work as assigned. Essential functions include routine maintenance on buildings – interior and exterior, maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due, works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations – takes appropriate actions to ensure safety of themselves and others in building. Skills must include decision making, thoroughness, time management, and customer/client focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Travel will be expected in this position around property, and properties located in town. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts. The employee is also occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites, noise levels may be loud. The employee will be required to be readily available while on-shift to radio and telephone calls. This position is required to be on-call after hours in the case of maintenance issues arising that need immediate attention.

Responsibilities:
Dayshift opening ranging between 28-40 hours a week, ranging between 6am to 6pm shifts, 8 hour shifts, 3 to 5 days a week.

Job description:
Housekeepers will perform a combination of general cleaning duties to maintain Harbin’s private guest accommodations (rooms) and/or other retreat facilities, such as offices & shared common areas. Duties may include stripping/making beds, replenishing linens, dusting, cleaning room facilities, vacuuming and occasional deep cleaning tasks. They are responsible for emptying trash, cleaning windows, spot cleaning furniture and mopping, as needed. They also may refresh linen supplies upon request of guest or management. This role requires shift work.
Essential Functions

1. Daily cleaning assignments: rooms/tent cabins, offices, restrooms/dressing rooms & shared public/employee spaces (Garden Barn Break Room Cleaning)
2. Meet time management & efficiency goals to ensure the smooth flow of room turn over.
3. Room Packing, Refresh Stay Overs Rooms
4. Early check outs cleaning: rooms/tent cabins
5. Restocking of Supplies: rooms/tent cabins/camping bathrooms, as needed
6. Grove/Tent Cabin Laundry collection/distribution
7. Reporting guest housekeeping requests/ room maintenance problems.
8. Massage Laundry pickup/restocking
9. Special Cleaning Projects, as needed
Experience and Skills
1. Must be detailed oriented and motivated to support our guest experience delivering high quality cleanliness and care of our rooms and property.
2. Clear communication skills.
3. Ability to work both in a team setting as well as accomplish individual tasks efficiently, as needed.
4. Must always consider and practice proper body movements, especially when lifting heavy objects or engaging in repetitive tasks.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to mild cleaning products, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The physical environment is often uneven and may involve access via stairs and/or ramps. This position works both inside and outside and is therefore exposed to the elements and any extreme weather events related to seasonal weather. There is daily exposure to biodegradable/eco-friendly cleaning chemicals.
