Chuck brings a vast amount of experience to his work at Harbin. Arriving at the perfect time to step in to such a unique role during an extraordinary time in our organization's history was a blessing. Chuck helps keep Harbin's operations running smoothly. Before being transferred to the Daily Operations Department, Chuck worked in Reception and welcomed guests. His grounded demeanor and positive attitude are a joy to be around.

Music, Nature, Animals, Automobiles, Cooking.
What do you do on your free time?
Home projects, spend time outdoors, hang-out with my dog (Waylon), work on one of my cars, cook for my wife, read, watch movies.
What does a typical morning/day look like for you at work?
Depends on the day, each day tends to be different…some days are dedicated to meetings, others keep me busy with a myriad of projects outside of the office.
Where did you work before coming to Harbin?
I did the “corporate thing” for a very long time, working for a leading plumbing related company. I handled sales, and technical support. My territory was the western half of the U.S., as well as several countries in the Far East, and Central America.
How did we learn about Harbin?
I was out for a “Sunday drive” in my Jeep one day, and wound up at the Front Gate!
What jobs have you worked at Harbin? I started out as a Reception Agent, working both the Front Desk, and the Kiosk. Time passed, and I became the Manager of Reception. Now I work with the Ops (Operations) Dept., as a DML (Dept. Manager Liaison), assisting Lia, and the other M.D.’s with current projects.
How many years have we been at Harbin?
5+ wonderful years.
What inspires you?
Positive people, and events. A new Rolling Stones album hitting the shelves, doesn’t hurt either…
How do you inspire your team and others?
With positive reinforcement, leading by example, empowering people to be the best version of themselves possible. If none of this works, I usually resort to a “Chuck Story”…i.e. Humor.
What is your vision or what are your hopes for the future?
To see Harbin remain sustainable, while growing our clientele, and branching out in different areas, such as the Eco-Farm, and Resident Housing, possibly a Nursery for our young Children. It would be really great to have our Temple back also. Basically, to keep our little Gem around for the endless scores of people to enjoy, and balance their lives.
