Exciting progress is being made on the Azalea and Walnut hotel buildings at Harbin Hot Springs, and one of the key milestones recently reached was the assignment of room numbers for the new digital locks. As the team moves closer to the grand reopening slated for Spring 2026, the meticulous planning and attention to detail continue to take shape. The rebuilding has taken a long time, but thanks to generous donations we are slowly rebuilding.
During a recent meeting, Harbin Hot Springs team members, Lia Findley Jennings, Adam Mann, and Chayo Mosqueda met to review the hotel building plans and finalize the assignment of room numbers for the new rooms. With 26 rooms set to be available to the public, this step is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience when the hotel opens its doors.
These digital locks are part of a broader plan to enhance the guest experience, allowing for easier access to rooms without the need for traditional keys. In addition, the hotel will have an elevator, making it more accessible for guests of all mobility levels, further improving the comfort and convenience of the stay.
In the photo accompanying this blog post, Lia Findley Jennings and Adam Mann are seen deeply engaged in reviewing the hotel plans. The two carefully assigned room numbers, considering factors such as guest flow, room locations, and the overall aesthetic of the building.
Their work is part of the larger effort to assemble the Azalea and Walnut hotel buildings to their former glory, while also introducing modern amenities to make the guest experience even more special. Lia and Adam’s attention to detail ensures that everything from the room numbers to the technology aligns with Harbin’s commitment to providing a serene and rejuvenating environment for all who visit.
