Dancing Bear Café
The Dancing Bear Café is Harbin’s outdoor food café and picnic pavilion located between the Health Services office and the lovely lower Garden. Seasonal hours may vary and are posted on bulletin boards around property. The Café offers lovingly home-made food, including some favorite recipes from our former restaurant, market, and café, at reasonable prices.

Middletown is less than 10 minutes away from Harbin, and offers a variety of Restaurant Options. Most offer sit-down and carry-out service. Hardester’s supermarket has a vast selection of food, including a deli. Or visit Hardester’s sister stores in nearby Hidden Valley (a 15-minute drive from Harbin) and Cobb (a 20-minute drive).
Bring Your Own
Until we are able to build a permanent restaurant, market, and guest kitchen, you are welcome to bring prepared or packaged food and beverages with you. We ask that you store them in your vehicle or an odor-proof cooler/container away from the pool area. Camp stoves or other cooking devices (or flames of any sort) are not permitted anywhere on Harbin property.
