TranceDance is a meditation in listening and movement. All through human history, the trance state has been used to ac-cess the parts of our psyche that are beyond our conscious, discursive mind. We dance blindfolded to eliminate visual content and allow ourselves to go deeply into our bodies and our listening. With no visual feedback, there is the possibility of focusing our attention and intention on healing past trauma through an embracing of the shadow part of ourselves.
